About the programme

As a pharmacist, you have real influence on human health. The master’s degree programme in pharmacy builds on the bachelor’s degree programme in pharmacy and gives students hands-on experience as well as the opportunity to specialise.

This programme is only offered in Danish.

What makes the programme at UCPH unique?

The master’s degree programme in pharmacy will give you extensive knowledge and enable you to hold a number of different jobs. You will learn about medicines – from drug development and production to safe drug use of benefit to patients receiving all kinds of treatment. In the master’s degree programme, you will get to interact with end users during field practice in a community or hospital pharmacy.

You will become an expert in medicines – from drug development to consulting – and you will become part of a growing industry. This will give you various job opportunities. You can work in a university as a researcher focussing on diseases and drug design or in a pharmaceutical company. You can also work in a community or hospital pharmacy, helping patients and doctors choose safe, effective medicines.
