About the programme

The programme is the second part of the programme in dentistry. It builds on the knowledge you acquired in the bachelor’s programme in odontology and introduces new subject areas.

This programme is only offered in Danish.

What specialisations does the field of study offer?

You will become an expert in preventing and treating oral diseases of the teeth, gums, jaw, mucosa and salivary glands. You will acquire theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience as well as insight into patient psychology and human contact.

Why is this programme relevant?

After graduation, you can work as a dentist in a private or public clinic, as a researcher and teacher at a university or in the pharmaceutical industry. You can also specialise in dental or oral surgery or become an orthodontist.
