About the programme

1-year master's programme

The master's programme in data stewardship is a focused one-year master’s degree, worth 75 ECTS credits.

You gain targeted skills for working professionally with managing data processes across many types of organisations.

After completing your programme, you will have access to continuing education, allowing you to build on your academic foundation throughout your working life. We call it lifelong learning.

A data steward is the human link that connects an organisation’s infrastructure, data, and the people who want to use the data.

As a data steward, you ensure that data is collected, managed, and stored so it can be used effectively within the organisation and in external collaborations.

As a student of data stewardship, you gain an understanding of processes, technical skills, and expertise in data management and data security.

Choose this programme to combine your bachelor’s degree with strong data skills. Regardless of your academic background, you will learn how to understand, collect, and manage data in relation to your own field. The programme builds on the knowledge and competencies you have developed during your bachelor’s degree and opens up a wide range of new career opportunities in a short time.

Study start in September

1 March at 23:59

Application deadline for Danish applicants and applicants from within the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
Open for applications from 16 January. You will receive a reply by 15 May.

15 January at 23:59

Application deadline for applicants from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
Open for applications from 15 November. You will receive a reply by 13 March.
