About the programme

A new programme is on the way

The MA in Psychology of Language is expected to be offered as a focused one-year master’s degree, with the first intake in September 2028.

You can expect a programme that focuses on how we use language to make sense of the world around us and to share that understanding with others. You will gain the tools needed to work with interpersonal processes of understanding and become an expert in addressing challenges related to communication and mutual understanding.

Psychology of Language takes an interdisciplinary approach to language use and psychological aspects such as cognition, perception, and relationships in human interaction.

We investigate the phenomenon of shared understanding: to what extent do we truly understand one another when we communicate? What are the most significant challenges to achieving mutual understanding?

This programme is only offered in Danish.
