Tuition fee
Tuition fees are calculated on the basis of academic area, credits (ECTS points), and the citizenship of the applicant (EU/EAA citizens or Non- EU/EAA citizens).
The fee covers participation in classes and a limited number of examination attempts. It does not cover course materials, travel, accommodation, excursions, and living expenses during the course. Any additional obligatory expenses will be listed in the course description.
The specific tuition fee can be found in course description for each course.
Most participants have to pay tuition fee for the summer course, however, there are some exceptions.
Participants enrolled at Danish universities
If you are currently enrolled full-time at a Danish university, you do not need pay tuition fee for participating in a summer course provided that you can document that the course is preapproval by your home university.
Participants not enrolled at a Danish university
All participants who are not enrolled in a Danish university must pay tuition fees for the summer courses. EU/EEA citizens pay a different rate to citizens from outside the EU/EEA. The specific rate can be found at each separate course description.
If you are offered a place in a course, you will receive detailed information about payment and deadlines.
Visa
Depending on where you are from, you may need an entry visa to attend the summer course at UCPH. You are responsible for securing a visa for your stay in Denmark.
Please note that the process can be time consuming, so we advise you to apply for a visa as soon as your enrolment has been confirmed and you have paid the tuition fee.
