UCPH’s typographic expression is based on a combination of serif and sans serif typefaces. The interplay between the historic and the modern reflects the university’s foundation in 1479 and its focus on the future as a modern and innovative university.

UCPH’s new web design uses the typefaces Inter and EB Garamond.

UCPH’s printed publications use the typefaces Frutiger LT Std and Adobe Garamond Pro.


Typography in Office templates
UCPH’s Microsoft Office templates use different standard typefaces depending on the application and document type.
In Word documents, such as letters, reports and minutes, Times New Roman and Arial are used. Outlook uses Verdana, while PowerPoint presentations use Microsoft New Tai Lue.
