Education

The department has a wide educational profile with the options of bachelor and master degrees, continuing education and much more.

Educational profile

At the Department of Biology, we educate graduates with strong theoretical knowledge, solid practical experience, and insights from active researchers. This provides a smooth transition from student life to employment in both the public and private sectors – in Denmark and internationally.

This includes the biologist working with biodiversity and climate research, the biochemist and biologist exploring the smallest building blocks of life, the molecular biomedicine graduate developing new treatments, and the bioinformatician using computers to analyze biological data and solve complex problems.

Our four bachelor’s and four master’s degree programs offer a broad, research-based education – with excellent career prospects.
