Each speaker will nominate one or more chemists of international renown. In a short presentation, the speaker will justify the nomination, explaining what breakthrough deserves the honor.
All are welcome to participate in the event, and no registration is needed.
Program:
- 17:00 – 17:30 Meet and greet – Beer and soft drinks will be served in Auditorium 1
- 17:30 – 17:40 The audience quizzes in trivia regarding the Nobel Prizes.
- 17:40 – 17:50 ” Welcome” by Pernille Harris, Head of Department – Why are we gathered and what is going to happen?
- 17:50 – 18:55 Four researchers present their nominees and challenged by the questioning panel.
- 18:55 – 19:00 The audience cast their votes by mobile phone, choosing which candidate they think should be awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
- 19:00 - 19:30 Beer, soft drinks and cake will be served in Auditorium 1.
