Obesity journal with record-high impact factor

The scientific journal Obesity Reviews is now the highest ranked scientific journal in the world within the field of nutritional science and obesity research. Editor-in-chief of the successful scientific journal is Professor Arne Astrup.

Arne Astrup is one of the world’s leading scientists within the field of food and health. In addition to being a professor at the Faculty of Life Sciences, he is also the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Obesity Reviews which has attained a record-high Impact Factor. Impact Factors, which are calculated by Thomson ISI, is a metric that reflects the frequency that peer-reviewed journals are cited by researchers. Obesity Reviews has attained a world record within its academic field with an Impact Factor of 7.8. For comparison, the Impact Factor of the famous American nutritional journal ‘American Journal of Clinical Nutrition’ is 6.6 and that of most other journals within this academic field lies between 1 and 4:
