Globalizing Scandinavia - Negotiating the welfare state
Three-day seminar aims to focus on the cultural
exchange between Scandinavia and the outside world in the
twentieth century. The research agenda behind the seminar is
to provide insight into the cultural consequences of
globalisation in the region in the twentieth century and in
the dynamic between economic and cultural globalisation.
The seminar is arranged by the Georg Brandes School
(Research school at the Department of Scandinavian Studies
and Linguistics). All are welcome.
